The USB168-E really is a great webcam for such a low price. It has a superb clear picture with an advanced
CCD chip usually found on much more expensive models. With a 30FPS frame rate and image size up to 800
x 600 the performance is excellent.

This model differs from the USB168 only in the way the built in LED Lights operate. It has six built in White
Light LED's to give night operation which come on when its dark and go off when its light. The camera is a low
light model and goes Monochrome when the light level is too low for colour giving a good monochrome image.
The camera can also be switched to B/W mode as required. There are also settings for Indoor/Outdoor
operation and backlight compensation and auto low light mode.

The Zoom function is very good and can be controlled from within most good webcam programs. For a 300K
pixel webcam the picture quality is very good.

And in addition to all the technical settings there is a large variety of fun effects to add to your pictures
including a newspaper mode which is very effective. All in all this camera is brilliant value for money with
sparkling performance which outperforms many far higher priced units. Uses the Sonix chip
