Zentium 1.3 megapixel webcam with lights XP Vista and Mac OS X compatible high performance webcam

The Zentium is a USB 2.0 webcam for such a low price. It has a superb clear picture with an advanced CCD
chip usually found on much more expensive models. With a 30FPS maximum frame rate and image size up to
1024 x 768 the performance is excellent. It has a resolution of 1.3 Mega Pixels and when used with a good
computer and graphics card and plugged into a USB 2.0 port gives brilliant 30 FPS video at 640 x 480.

It has six built in White Light LED's to give night operation which come on when its dark and go off when its
light. The Zentium webcam is a low light model and goes Monochrome when the light level is too low for colour
giving a good monochrome image. The camera can also be switched to B/W mode as required. There are also
settings for Indoor/Outdoor operation and backlight compensation and auto low light mode.

The Zoom function is very good and can be controlled from within most good webcam programs and it comes
with a Face tracking mode in the software which zooms and centres your face (within the limits of the frame)
when enabled. Zoom and auto face tracking can also be enabled or disabled from within the software.

And in addition to all the technical settings there is a large variety of fun effects to add to your pictures
including a newspaper mode which is very effective.
