The River Yare is situated in the county of Norfolk and is one of the principal navigable waterways in the Norfolk Broads, connecting with the rest of the network there. Smaller coastal vessels can travel from Norwich right down to the sea using this river.
The River Yare was often a source of inspiration for landscape paintings by members of the early 19th century Norwich School of artists and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. owns an oil painting by John Crome, entitled Moonlight on the Yare.
The river runs through the centre of the town of Great Yarmouth and the port of Great Yarmouth comprises a deep water outer harbour along with commerical quays on both sides of the river Yare.
Camsecure live webcams are used in towns and cities, in coastal and seaside resorts to show off the splendid views and often for weather and wild life purposes too.
Maybe you have a beautiful view you would like to share with the world and if so just contact us and we can help.
We hope you have enjoyed viewing our live webcam from the River Yare, and do stay and have a look at our other webcams from East Anglia too.
