Our ANPR cameras are specially designed for the sole purpose of capturing vehicle number plates from moving vehicles day or night. These
speciallly designed ANPR cameras are monochrome only and not suitable for general viewing - for this you should use a secondary "overview"
camera. There is no need for special recorders or software with these cameras, you can simply hook them into a standard DVR and start
capturing number plates from vehicles. They are suitable for roads or driveways and there are three models available for speeds up to 110 MPH.

Our ANPR cameras incorporate some of the latest technologies in order to perform so well at capturing number plates including a very fast
shutter speed, an adjustable IR intensity and you can also adjust at what level of darkness the IR lights switch on to suit your location.

These ANPR cameras are specially designed to overcome the problems with being able to see a number plate on a moving vehicle, in all light
conditions and even with the vehicles headlights blazing into the front of the camera. By connecting them to a suitable high resolution recording
device with a high frame rate e.g. a D1 DVR recording the ANPR channel in full D1 at a frame rate of 25 FPS will be able to record images that
allow you to read the number plate of a vehicle viewed by one of these cameras. They are also suitable for connecting to existing computerised
ANPR systems.
By using one of these cameras and a good quality DVR set up as above, a low cost number plate recording system can easily be built.
