The Camsecure 808LX Linux 9 bit Proffessional PCI DVR capture card for the Linux OS converts a PC into a dedicated CCTV recording centre. There are many advantages of using Linux which is a Lower cost, more secure, more stable, more efficient and faster operating system than Windows. Each camera connected to the Linux PCI Capture Card can be recorded and displayed at up to 640 x 480 Resolution with colour and contrast settings independantly controllable for each camera. Compression can be selected as either H.264 or MPEG-4 and up to 8 channels may be recorded and played back simultaneously. There is a composite video output on the card which can be used to switch its cameras to a local monitor. All functions of the card including playback, digital zoom, PTZ control, snapshot and record can be controlled from Internet Explorer or with the supplied client software for added security. The Linux DVR card also has record on motion, Email on motion and many other security functions. NOTE that this proffessional DVR card takes control of the PC and the PC cannot be used for other uses whithout un-installing the card. |
