CCTV for Marine Use

The use for CCTV aboard ship is fast becoming an important aid to the safety and security of the crew, passengers and the
vessel itself. Whether your aboard a Trawler or other fishing vessel, a private Yacht or even a luxury cruise liner CCTV has an
important part to play.
Here are just a few examples of how CCTV is playing a key role aboard vessels of all types and sizes today.
For Inspection Purposes:
Our New Marine CCTV Camera is specially designed to operate at depths of up to 18 metres allowing you to view beneath the
surface or in a flooded area with ease. Check out the new Underwater Camera Now.
The Engine Room:
Camera's can be placed in the engine room of a vessel to allow the crew to monitor engine and fuel status, view warning lights
and gauges and keep a watch out in case a fire should break out. All our CCTV Camera's for use aboard ship come equipped
with built in Infra Red lights so you can even see whats happening in the dark........no need to leave the lights on.
Cold Store:
CCTV here lets the crew check the status of the storage area and make sure nothing is happening that could cause undue
temperature changes.
Winch Room:
Again anywhere there is electrical or mechanical machinery lies the possibility of equipment failure and fire.....and lets not
forget health and safety. CCTV provides a valuable "Lone Worker" system as crew members can be left working on their own
but still be monitored from the wheel house by another.
All our cameras for marine use are IP rated according to the job they are going to be used for. All come with built in IR LED
lighting so they can see in the dark and there are no bulbs to change. The control equipment can show single cameras or
multiple cameras on a split screen and there are also digital recorders available so the voyage can be recorded and played
back later.
