The Camsecure Underwater Webcam is an ideal tool for carrying out inspections
beneath the waters surface, spying on the activity in your garden pond or fish tank or
even fitting to your pool. The submersible webcam has two heavy stainless steel
weights ensuring that the underwater webcam can easily sink down in the water
with the correct orientation so the picture is square and steady. This makes
manoeuvring the underwater webcam to get the correct view much easier than if it
were bobbing about with inadequate ballast. The weights also allow the underwater
webcam to sit happily on the bottom of a tank or pond.
The underwater webcam provides a high quality colour picture and it has white LED
lights surrounding the lens to help illuminate the underwater scene. These LED lights
can be turned on or off using the small plugs on the lead at the PC/Laptop end of the
cable. The underwater webcam comes with a 20 metre cable and the submersible
webcam is designed to work down to depths of 18 metres.
The submersible webcam plugs into the USB port of a Laptop or PC, and a MAC
version is available too. The underwater webcam will work with any Windows webcam
software so you can use it with your favourite program. The Windows software
included with the underwater webcam provides basic real time recording and still
image snapshot facilites and a free copy of our ViewStream software is included too.

Our underwater webcam is not powered from the USB port of the computer as this would draw too much power. Instead the camera is provided
with a mains power adaptor which plus into the camera lead at the computer end to power the camera and LED lights. If you need to operate the
camera with a laptop remote from a mains power source then the camera can also be powered from a separate 12 volt battery (not included).
