Live Christmas Tree Webcam From Havlíckovo Town Center
Check out our 24 hour Christmas channel Festive winter webcam for Christmas, from the Czech Republic in the town square of Havlíckovo.

This webcam looks out over the town square where the Christmas tree stands. When the snow has fallen too it really does look festive and put you in the Christmas spirit.
The main Christmas celebrations in the Czech Republic take place on Christmas Eve. Some people will fast during Christmas Eve in the hope that they will see a vision of "the golden pig" appear on the wall before dinner, which is meant to be a sign of good luck at Christmas.

The Czech traditional Christmas dinner is eaten on Christmas Eve rather than on Christmas Day as it is in the UK.

The Christmas meal often consists of fish soup (made of carp), and fried carp with potato salad. They are big on Carp in the Czech Republic.

The famous King Wenceslas of the Christmas Carol was a real King here and became the patron saint of the Czech Republic.

We hope you have enjoyed viewing this Christmas Webcam. Have a look at our other live webcams with a Christmas theme too and have a very merry Christmas.
