Redcar is a seaside resort and town in the Tees Valley in North Yorkshire, England and historically it is part of the North Riding of Yorkshire.

The Redcar Beacon was opened to the public on 28 March 2013 and is 80ft high with seven floors. The beacon allows visitors to see a 360 degree view around Redcar. The beacon incorporates many Eco features too.
