Great result for residents and the Blot Cam

True to their word the laundry management have now finished
painting Phase 1 and as you can see it is a great improvement. The
colour choice of the residents appears to blend in very well with the
environment. Phase 2 due to commence spring 2009 and will include
the roof and chimney stack. Continue watching progress here.

Blot Cam History

This camera has been installed by a frustrated and desperate resident (one of
many) as a means of demonstrating to the public the extent of environmental and
visual damage that has been caused by the building of an industrial laundry plant,
in a beautiful part of Newton Abbot.

The residents have been (and still are) fighting a long hard battle against the
decision which they say has ruined that part of the natural countryside.

In an attempt to prove their argument to as many people living outside the area as
possible, one resident has installed a Camsecure PTZ dome camera system which
often shows the extent of the effects this plant has had on the local residents.
