This live webcam shows alternating views looking out towards Scapa Flow and the Churchill Barriers that connect Burray with mainland Orkney and at times you can see some really stormy sea and weather battering the coastline.
The Churchill Barriers were constructed to prevent further submarine attacks following the sinking of the battleship HMS Royal Oak in October 1939 which was sunk by U47 creeping under defences in Scapa Flow during World War 2.
