Get a webcam like this for your own website This is a slow static picture update webcam located at Froward Point off Kingswear and is looking down into Start Bay, Devon. The camera is run by the Torbay NCI and the picture updates every thirty seconds.

The National Coastwatch Institution was formed in 1994 in Cornwall UK after the deaths of two local fishermen who were drowned directly below a Coastguard station at Bass Point that had only recently been shut down. The institution is a registered charity, number 1045645.
The Froward Point lookout became operational in July 2005 and is one of a growing number of NCI lookout stations along the coastline of the UK.

NCI Froward Point rents two buildings of the Brownstone Battery complex which is a World War II battery, from the National Trust. As a part of the NCI UK registered charity, and was featured in the ITV Southwest Regional Evening News programme on the 14th of February 2007 as a significant point on a featured walk.
