The preserved railway is a live piece of history and while travelling through outstanding scenery you will enjoy the comfortable carriages while being pulled by historic steam engines all the way through Snowdonia and travel through ancient oak woodlands, past glorious coastlines, up mountains and alongside beautiful rivers.
The Ffestiniog Railway is the world's oldest narrow gauge railway with almost 200 years of history. The railway takes you on a 13½-mile journey from the harbour in Porthmadog to the slate quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
