Cawfield quarry picnic area live webcam, courtesy of Northumberland national park, is a striking location where Hadrian's Wall and the Great Whin Sill dolerite bedrock are visible with a truly dramatic effect.
This dissused quarry site is well used by local diving clubs and is ideally situated for walkers setting off to capture that Hadrian's Wall experience.
There is a lovely large scenic pond and a car park with 40 spaces, plus toilets (including disabled) picninc tables and a drinking water tap.
No fires, Barbecues or overnight accommodation is allowed at Cawfields.
