Just outside of the centre of the village of the Muir of Ord there is the Glen Ord distillery which is one of the few remaining whisky distilleries on the Black Isle.
The famous Castle Hill Henge is today situated on the green of the Muir of Ord golf course too. This is a Neolithic or Bronze-Age henge and national monument of Scotland.
