At low water a causeway links to the town and at high water passenger boats carry visitors between Marazion and St. Michael's Mount.
Marazion lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and almost a third of Cornwall has this designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park. A lovely area to visit indeed.
